Tannasg Pipe Band performs at various events and can perform with everything from a whole band of about 20 members, with Drum Major in the lead, to smaller sets or a lone piper.
In addition to traditional marching music, such as Scotland The Brave and Green Hills of Tyrol, we also play other bagpipe tunes such as Amazing Grace, Highland Cathedral, Skye boat Song, reels or jigs.
Over the years, we have of course gained an interrest in several other areas of Scottish culture and therefore, in addition to bagpipe music, we can also offer a lot of other things.
Maybe someone who sings Gaelic songs? Or we add a couple of Scottish or for that matter Irish songs, accompanied on guitar, violin or mandolin.
If you want, we can arrange lectures on Scotland or arrange a whisky tasting?
There are also dancers associated with the Tannasg Pipe Band, so even a sword dance, a reel or a jig can be included in the program when we perform.
